2023 Black College World Series Returns to Montgomery, Alabama May 10-13

Eight teams from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) will compete once again at Riverwalk Stadium for the third Black College World Series (BCWS) Championship. Tyson Foods is proud to continue our sponsorship of the BCWS and support HBCU student-athletes.
The top team from the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II bracket in the tournament will face off against the top team from the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) bracket to determine the champion. Tournament play will begin Wednesday, May 10 and conclude with the championship game Saturday, May 13.
“We’re proud to partner with the City of Montgomery, the Montgomery Biscuits and Tyson Foods to bring the Black College World Series back to Montgomery for the third year in a row,” said Michael Coker, executive director of Black College Championships. “We’re committed to providing a world class experience for the student athletes who will compete for a national title. This event will help further elevate HBCU baseball on the national stage and we’re grateful for the commitment of our partners and sponsors who support our vision.”
Tyson Foods began its three-year partnership with BCWS in 2022.
Riverwalk Stadium is home to the Montgomery Biscuits, the Double-A affiliate of the Southern League's Tampa Bay Rays.
